Real Madrid's director of institutional relations said that the fans as well as the club have full faith in the Portuguese coach, despite the whistling heard inside the stadium last night.

Emilio Butragueño, Real Madrid's director or institutional relations backed José Mourinho and showed his satisfaction at the team's progress into the last sixteen of the Copa del Rey. He praised Aloyano's effort in both legs, although he thinks they were unable to keep up the intensity in the second half. "Above all I'd like to thank Alcoyano for having a fantastic attitude and for their great match here. The outcome was always affected by the first leg. From a fitness point of view, they dropped and it was easier after that" he said after the game.

Real Madrid fielded an eleven with various reserves and for Butragueño, each man met expectations. "Everybody did the job. José Rodríguez worked well in the middle. It was a really good experience for them in front of 50,000 people. From here I'd like to thank the fans for their support."

Finally, he stated that supporters and the club are totally behind José Mourinho, in spite of the whistling that was heard inside the stadium. "Madrid people clearly support Mourinho and the club too. Totally."
