Tito Vilanova declared the title race would not be over even if Atlético beat Real Madrid on Saturday, but admitted he won't watch the game live. "I have to speak to the press then I'm going to have dinner."

The 11 point gap between Barça and Madrid

"I don't think about these things, I just think about my squad. The difference between us and our rivals is not our problem, I prefer to think about winning matches."

If Madrid lose the derby is the title well and truly over?

"No, not at all, it wouldn't be over even if the gap became 14 or even 16 points. There's still a long way to go and it could be that by the end of tomorrow we are eight points ahead of them."

Will you watch the Madrid derby?

"I will be attending to the press after our game and then I'm going to have dinner. I won't be watching it, I won't even follow it."

The Ballon d'Or

"There has been so much talk about the Ballon d'Or for so long that the players just want it to be over soon so that everyone can stop talking about it. Everyone involved with the club is delighted that two of the finalists are Barcelona players."

Are the three candidates - Messi, Cristiano and Iniesta - the best players?

"Those are the ones the voters chose, it seems fair to me, although I would like Xavi to be up there as well, as I said before."

Are you excited about the prospect of Iniesta winning it?

"I will be very happy if one of those two win it, it's up to the voters to decide, and whoever wins it will deserve it."

On winning the coaches' Ballon d'Or in the future

"I don't even think about it. I've just started my career as a first team coach. The three coaches who are up for the trophy have all done great jobs. It's difficult to say who should win it, Del Bosque deserves it, but so does Pep Guardiola because of the quality of the teams he has built."

Not playing Messi against Alavés

"I thought it was a good time to give him a rest, even though he could have played and could have tried to score more goals to beat Müller's record."

Having Puyol and Piqué back:

"It's so important to have them back especially because they have been injured the most out of all our players in the last year. We didn't concede too many goals without them because we adjusted and we press the opposition so high up the pitch."

The game against Athletic Bilbao

"They are playing the same as before. My players know that Bielsa's teams like to press you very hard and we should be able to deal with it. They have lost crucial players like Javi Martínez while Llorente plays less, but that doesn't make them any less dangerous.

"I don't think they want revenge for the Copa del Rey final. They are a very intense team and they are all battlers, they're an electric side."

Barça will lose at some point

"You always have bad moments in a season, that happens to every team, and we will need to be prepared when we do lose."

Eric Abidal's recovery

"He is a very different case to our other injured players. He is recovering and little by little his health is improving and he can do more things. We are very happy for him, but it wasn't a surprise. He's been with us for a long time and we are delighted to still have him with us."

January transfer window

"There will be no additions to the squad in January."
